And the Next TV Chef Contest Winner IsMichael Giletto!

Michael Giletto, executive chef of the Pine Hill Golf Club in Pine Hill, New Jersey has won the right to be "The Next TV Chef" on Jim Coleman's Flavors of America on PBS.

Philadelphia, PA October 8, 2004 -- Michael Giletto, executive chef of the Pine Hill Golf Club in Pine Hill, New Jersey has won the right to be The Next TV Chef.

The competition was judged by internationally-renowned Chef Jim Coleman, host of Flavors of America on PBS.

Chef Gilettos winning dish was Seared Day-Boat Scallop Amuse accented with Tobikko Caviar and Lumpfish Pearls.

He prepared the dish using PanSaver high temperature (400 F) pan liners.

According to Chef Giletto: I cook with PanSaver pan liners because there is no-food-to-metal contact. The food grade pan liners hold moisture in the food and that helps me achieve the color, flavor and textures that I seek with this gourmet dish.

PanSaver pan liners are manufactured by M&Q Plastic Products, the sponsor of the contest.

Chef Giletto prepared his dish during a recent videotaping of Flavors of America at the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia. The program will air later this year.

According to Jim Coleman: It seems to be every chefs dream to share his creation with a television audience. Michael has realized that dream with an outstanding seafood dish that is well within the reach of viewers at home.
